Everyone is talking about these 3D lashes…but do they really live up to all the hype? I have put them to the test so keep reading to hear my honest unbiased opinion.
First of all, please disregard the deer in the headlight look also, I want you to know that I didn’t wear any other makeup other than mascara and the 3D lashes, so that what you see is what you get without any illusions makeup can bring.
When I first received the 3D lashes, I really wasn’t too sure what to expect. I see and hear about them everywhere but wasn’t exactly sure what they really were.To my surprise, the product is made up of two ‘mascara like’ containers. One contains a gel and the other, fibers. Plus it comes in this cool little case.
The gel is simply a mascara like product that applies black. It allows the fibers to adhere to your lashes. The so called fibers are really like little pieces of fluff. When applied over the gel, they stick to your lashes, including the tips making them appear longer and more voluminous. As you can see in the picture above, my lashes look much fuller at the base and they are reaching closer to my eye brows with the 3D lashes on.
Lucky for me, my natural lashes are quite dark, full and long so I don’t need a lot of help in that department as a simple coat of any mascara will tend to do the trick. That said, I still strive for bigger and better because I really think that luxurious lashes always makes a women look their best 😉
I do believe that this product is very innovative and yes, it works! I can only imagine that it would work wonders for those with smaller, thinner lashes.
It is incredibly easy to apply, just like putting on regular mascara really.

Love this! I actually fell in love with the mascara and started selling it :). It isn’t sold in stores (and be careful if you see it on eBay, Craigslist, Amazon, etc. they are fakes and can contain ingredients such as fiberglass! Ouch). It is waterproof but comes off easily with soap and water. (I’ve known women who worked out and it didn’t smudge and one even gave birth! Lol). It has natural ingredients and is animal friendly. The fibers won’t fall on your cheeks as long as you deal with the gel. Thanks for posting your review!!

At first, I thought this was really hyped up but, for the most part, I’ve seen good reviews of this….I guess that I means I have to try it for myself, right? Especially seeing as Katie likes it too. 🙂

Did you have any issues with the fibers flaking off and getting in your eyes or ending up on your cheeks? That’s my concern.

I did not no. However, i used a small amount. To get the bigger results you see out there i would assume you would need to use alot more and i could see that happening. However, im sure if you just blew on ur lashes once they were dry any fibers that didnt attach would fall out and the rest wld last throughout the day.

I want to try this so bad, but so scared my sensitive eyes will be irritated by it.

I honestly thought the same thing…i thought it was some sort of formula but that is not the case at all. Bottom line is its just mascara with fluff on it. Haha. Seriously!

This is pretty cool! Did you find the fibres were messy at all?

Not messy at all! And since they are really just pieces of fluff (my words) they are simply just blown away.

I have been seeing this product everywhere. I haven’t personally tried it as it doesn’t look too appealing for my needs but when seen on people I have mixed reactions. On some people it looks great, the lashes look longer and more full but on a LOT of people it looks very clumpy, thick and unappealing. It may be they are over applying and not using proper technique but I think this should be used in moderation!

I can see that. Definitely use in moderation…just like all makeup products. A lovely blush can look amazing until it’s applied to its full color….Yikes!
