Lise Watier HydraForce Review

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that my skin took a definite beating this winter! It was cold and dry and my skin has been begging me for some hydration! If you are an avid reader of my blog, then you are well aware that I have oily skin. But let me tell you that having oily skin doesn’t mean hydrated skin! Every time I go in for a facial, the aesthetician tells me the same old thing…that my skin is far too dehydrated! While I didn’t quite understand it at first, I came to realize that dehydrated doesn’t necessarily equal dry like we would believe. But how would I would re-hydrate my skin without using an ultra thick cream that would certainly not sit well with my oily skin?!I think at times, maybe the fact that as an oily girl, I tend to use drying products to help control the oil production. That along with the winter weather is a great combination to be sure to get this lovely de-hydrated skin.

And then came the Lise Watier Hydraforce line! They actually sell a hydrating cream-gel for those with oily skin / Combination skin! Of course, the Hydraforce line also has a thicker Hydraforce Crème for those dry skin types. They even created a lip balm with this magical Hydraforce technology! God knows that my lips too need some much needed love and hydration too!

The Hydraforce formula is exceptionally effective due to the power if the Gaspe Algae Extract. The Gaspe Algae survives even the harshest conditions, allowing it to deeply hydrate the skin all while providing an amazing defensive shield to protect from further damage/dehydration.

Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Crème-Gel Review

The Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Crème-Gel is what I have been using in the mornings before I apply my makeup for the day. It melts into the skin beautifully without leaving any sticky/greasy residue behind. It’s light gel texture is perfect for my oily skin! It has a very light, pleasant scent and has done an amazing job re-hydrating my thirsty skin.

Lise Watier sent along a Hydraforce moisture tester that you hook up to your phone and use with the Hydraforce app. It allows you to test your skin moisture as many times as you wish. I took the moisture test before I applied the Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Crème-Gel and then again an hour post application. See my moisture test results below, I doubled my moisture levels!!lise-watier-hydraforce-creme-gel-before-and-after

Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Comforting Crème Review

I have been using the Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Crème in the evenings while I sleep. The Comforting Crème is for those with normal to dry skin and is thicker than the crème gel, and provides more of an emollient feeling on the skin. However, I was quite surprised how well it absorbed! It left my skin extremely soft and smooth without feeling like I had a heavy crème on. Something I don’t usually experience when trying out crèmes to treat dry skin. I could probably wear this during the day even with my oily  skin.

My Moisture Results below where taken before I applied the comforting crème after I washed my face for the night, then again in the morning. You can see that it is very clear that the Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Crème worked great throughout the night to hydrate my skin! You will see that I maintained a higher moisture level throughout the day as I used the crème gel in the day! The results show that the Hydraforce comforting crème provided a solid source of hydration throughout the night while I slept 🙂

Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Lip Balm Review

The Hydraforce Protective Lip Balm is vey moisturizing as you would expect. I didn’t find it too soothing on already chapped lips, but it certainly helped to bring them back to life within a few days. It is very smooth and comfortable on the lips and has a hint of lemon scent?! …I think it’s lemon that I’m smelling! Anyways, It is clear that this would make for a fantastic lip balm to protect from the harsh elements, however, I’m not too keen on spending 20 bucks for a lip balm. But…I do spend ample money on other things/products that other people would cringe at so I guess that is just a personal preference 🙂

To sum things up, I am definitely pleased with Lise Watier’s new Hydraforce line and my skin too is very thankful! 😉

Cheers, Victoria! kiss

  1. I have the same skin type as you only add aging to my issues! I LOVED this cream so much! Even though I have oil/dehydrated skin, I tried the one for dry skin and my skin just drinks it up and makes my skin look plump and younger! So happy with it.
