Did you know that mineral makeup helps to provide protection from the sun? That they are free from chemicals, fillers and dyes? Or what about that they are non-occlusive, meaning they allow your skin to breathe making it a fabulous choice for those with sensitive skin!
While mineral makeup certainly has a ton of benefits, keep reading to find out my thoughts on glo minerals makeup and lets see if it works just as well, if not better than traditional makeup!
glo minerals Suede Matte Crayon ~ $19.50CA
Oh for the love of matte lipsticks! These are amazing! They glide on so super smooth, dry matte and best of all they aren’t drying! The pigmentation is incredible and the color lasted me a solid 6 hours before I felt the need to re-apply.
They come in 7 shades from nudes to bolds and brights and I will definitely be placing an order to get the remaining five shades as these are a new must have for me.
The Suede Matte Crayons also comes with a built in sharpener which makes it the perfect purse friendly lipstick!
glo minerals Lipstick ~ $22.50CA
I gave two of the glo minerals lipsticks a try, a pinky nude (Tulip) and a plum (Aubergine). These are semi-sheer lipsticks with a light glossy finish which create a beautiful natural look on the lips.
I found them extremely comfortable and each gave me 3 to 5 hours of wear depending on what I was doing during that time.
I have tried other mineral lipsticks before and many times the lipsticks themselves are very soft and are prone to breaking (literally right off) however, the glo mineral lipsticks don’t feel fragile at all! I had no trouble applying them directly from the tube to my lips and the lipstick didn’t even bend.
The glo mineral lipsticks contain a unique blend of ingredients that work to moisturize and soften lips, as well, they are chocked full of antioxidants to protect your lips as well.
glo minerals Luxe Liquid Foundation ~ $70.00CA
Worth every penny! The name pretty much sums it up… ‘Luxe foundation with diamond powder technology’. This foundation is out of this world! It is full coverage yet it looks as though you aren’t wearing anything at all. It literally melts into your skin for a flawless, natural, airbrushed finish. It comes in a pump bottle and I find that half a pump will cover my entire face so I expect this bottle to last quite a while.
I am simply going to quote the glo minerals website description of this product so that you can get a good understanding of what makes this my new holy grail foundation.
Luxe Liquid Foundation applies optical physics to beauty. As light passes through diamond powder, it is reflected and diffused for a visibly softer, more radiant complexion. Luxe Liquid Foundation combines this advanced diamond powder technology with ultra-fine minerals and pigments in a formula that nourishes and protects skin while delivering ageless beauty.

glo minerals Pressed Base ~ $63.00CA
The glo minerals pressed base is a great product for those looking for a fuss free makeup application. It is a powder foundation that you apply with a sponge (provided) directly over your daily moisturizer.
I was a bit concerned that the pressed base would leave my face looking too powdery, however, while it did look a bit powdery when first applied, it quickly blended into my skin creating a very soft, smooth finish and not powdery at all.
It provided me with medium coverage and lasted 8 to 10 hours with the use of a finishing spray to keep it in place.
I chose the color golden dark as I thought it would be the best shade for my olive complexion but it is actually quite a light shade, so that was a bit disappointing but it’s also a good reminder to be aware when purchasing makeup online without being able to see it or try it in person first. When possible, give the company you are buying from an email or contact them on social media and ask them what they recommend for your skin tone.
glo minerals Bronze ~ $42.00CA
Lastly, we have the glo minerals bronzer in shade sunlight. With two color options for the glo minerals bronzer, I chose what seems to be the darker shade on the glo minerals website.
Unfortunately, this bronzer is not for me. It isn’t very pigmented and is far too light for me to use as a bronzer. I am also not a fan of shimmer bronzers which this one is. I much prefer a matte bronzer which I can add some shimmer on top if wanted and to only desired areas.
The color is very much a coppery peach shade which I actually love as a blush or a highlighter and that is what I have been using it for, but certainly not as a bronzer.
So there you have it! All and all I am very pleased with the glo minerals products. I definitely like the idea that I am using ‘good for your skin’ products free of chemicals etc. without having to sacrifice performance.
Cheers, Victoria!

It’s medium to full coverage and it is slightly dewy. Naturally dewy. Omg, I just can’t say enough good things about it! Every time I wear it people tell me how nice my skin looks 🙂

Those lip products look really nice! And the foundation sounds great. I’ve not hear of glo minerals – where do they sell it? At Sephora or Shoppers?

Unfortunately they don’t sell them there, but wouldn’t that be nice! You can purchase them online at gloprofessional.com
