AMOREPACIFIC Moisture Bound Review

As we jump into the beautiful fall season, it’s a good reminder that it’s time to take note at what skincare we are currently using and assure we are addressing our current concerns and what may lay ahead.

Every fall, like clock work, I purchase a fresh new bottle of Vitamin C serum to help combat any damage the sun has wreaked on my skin over the summer. As well, after months of warm weather and sun exposure, my skin needs a major moisture boost! This fall, I’ve been using the Moisture Bound line by AMOREPACIFIC to help with my summer induced dehydrated skin.

Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Creme Review

I’ve mentioned a time or two that I have oily skin yet I still have dehydrated skin from time to time. For years I spent so much effort trying to rid my skin of it’s abundance of oil that it actually caused me to be even MORE oily and using all of those drying products caused me to have dehydrated skin even though it was oily. I have gratefully learned through trial and error and many hours of intense research that in order to truly combat oily skin as well as dehydration is to assure that your skin has a sufficient amount of moisture so that your skin doesn’t feel the need to produce too much of its own.

While my skin is still oily, it is nothing like it was a year or so ago. I still use a good mattifying creme through-out the day and under my makeup, but at night, I use this time to wisely add some much needed moisture back into my skin.

The AMOREPACIFIC Moisture Bound Rejuvenating creme is a light-weight creme that addresses the two major causes of premature aging – dehydration and free radical damage. It delivers intense hydration, reveals a brighter more radiant complexion, and contains antioxidants to protect skin from free radical damage.

This luxurious cream leaves my skin incredibly smooth and has re-hydrated my skin from the long hot summer. It’s non greasy formula leaves my skin looking healthy and naturally dewy. I can only assume that someone with dry skin would love this product to wear throughout the day as it is so hydrating and leaves the skin silky smooth to the touch!

Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel Review

It’s no secret that I suffer from major dry eye syndrome πŸ˜‰ My under eyes is my biggest concern by a land slide as they are not only dry but I will also break out with eczema if a product doesn’t agree with me. So keeping the area at an optimum hydration level is very important to me and it also makes me a very harsh critic when it comes to reviewing eye creams.

I’ll start by saying that I really enjoy that this eye treatment is in a gel formula as it absorbs quickly into skin. As well, if needed, it allows you to layer a product over top which I do on occasion at night to address even more concerns like dark circles. With that said, you certainly do not need any more moisture with this little gem. It leaves the skin incredibly hydrated and plump without any greasy feeling at all. It soaks into the skin so well, working hard, deep into the many layers of your skin. Plus, I’m also happy to report that I had no eczema flare ups!

An issue I tend to notice with a lot of products dedicated to providing hydration under the eyes is that some aren’t ideal to wear under makeup. They can be thick and sit on top of the skin allowing them to mix with your makeup which can create a real mess as the oils and such in the eye cream can break down your makeup and the end result is never pretty. Since the AMOREPACIFIC Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye treatment Gel soaks into the skin so well this has not been a problem at all and in fact leaves under the eyes perfectly prepped for makeup.

I will definitely be picking up another jar of this when this one is empty. If you have dry under eyes or are looking for an eye cream that will slow and diminish the signs of aging all while keeping the area healthy then I 100% recommend this for you!

Moisture Bound Lip Treatment Review

I’ve only recently become obsessed with lip treatments, and wow do I wish I had jumped on this sooner! I have noticed such a difference in the texture, look and feel of my lips since I’ve been taking better care of them. Since I’m not made of money, (even though my kids say that I am exactly that…M.O.M) lol, I do leave my lip treatments for night use only while I sleep. Having to reapply multiple times through out the day would get pretty costly pretty darn fast. However, I find that reserving its use for bedtime only, the product will last a few months allowing me to justify the cost in comparison to a five dollar lip balm from the drugstore that doesn’t truly have many more benefits than a temporary boost of comfort and hydration. There comes a point where you need to start thinking of your lips from an anti-aging stand point, and for me, that point is now!

The AMOREPACIFIC Moisture Bound Lip Treatment binds hydration to lips, restoring your natural moisture barrier. It delivers nourishment, protection and promotes natural circulation which is very important from an anti-aging perspective not to mention it leaves you with a beautifully plump pucker! When I wake up in the morning, the lip treatment is still very present on my lips, and my lips are soooo smooth, hydrated and ready for the day!

  1. I suffer from dry under eyes as well. I have tried so many products but still looking for the right one. I will be getting this eye cream it sounds like it may just do the trick!

  2. I have combination skin that is dehydrated too – it’s a weird concept but it’s a challenge to get products that caters to both. I’ve not heard much about AmorePacific except for their cushion compact – these look great. I really like the packaging on these too – the way the lids open!
