October Beauty Favorites 2016!

October Beauty Favorites 2016

I have so many fabulous products to share with you this month! A few hidden gems perhaps as well as a few products you’ve likely heard buzzing around the internet. I’ve included a little bit of everything in this post, so I hope you enjoy and find something that will possibly be a favorite of yours one day too!

Makeup Favorites

I read a lot of mixed reviews on the Make Up For Ever Water Blend Foundation before I actually tried it for myself. Personally, I am loving it! It is sheer, but certainly evens out your skin tone for a beautiful naturally dewy finish.

A couple super scores from the drugstore I fell in love with this month is the Almay Age Essentials Concealer and the Marcelle Face Powder. The Almay Age Essentials Concealer covers so incredibly well, it is hydrating, it doesn’t crease, it blends beautifully…I don’t know what else to say except that it is so GOOD! I easily beats out a few other high end concealers I’ve been testing out lately. And then there is the Marcelle Face powder! Yes girl, yes! It is a matte translucent powder in a functional container. It sets the face and under the eyes to a soft matte, non drying finish. While it’s landed in my October Beauty Favorites, this will definitely be a favorite for a very long time!

I received the collection of the Urban Decay Moondust Eye Shadows and they wow me every time I use them. They are so vibrant and fun to play with and oh so sparkly!! They are iridescent and considered a 3D Metallic and the end result is just so phenomenal. There are two shades in particular I have been obsessed with this month, Dark Cloud and Horizon but all the shades are truly gorgeous!

Charlotte Tilbury came out with a new shade as part of her Matte Revolution Lipstick line. It is called ‘The Queen‘ as it captures the queen style, poise, warmth and power! The  crown jewel, redish pink lipstick is stunning and vibrant and the formula is extremely comfortable to wear. I find myself continuously reaching for this lipstick.

The Milani Baked Blushes have been around for quite some time and the shade Luminoso already has a giant cult following. I have re-fallen in love with it this month and I can’t even believe how it possibly lost it’s top shelf spot. Regardless, I’m happy to have been re-united with this little beauty. It has just the right amount of sheen for a luminous look and the peach shade is just my absolute perfect everyday shade.

Skincare Favorites

OMG! I finally got my hands on the Foreo Iris Illuminating Eye Massager! I was surprised when I first tried it out at how light the pulse or tapping motion was that it provided, but I continued to use it and it didn’t take long to realize that the pressure is just right. The eye is so delicate and anything more would be too much. I actually keep this on my night stand and I use it every night before I go to sleep. I have noticed a great improvement to my under eye bags and just knowing that I am promoting blood flow and circulation to the area makes me sleep better at night 🙂

I was introduced to Acure this month and they sent me this magical little mask! The Magical Wonderfluff is an anti-aging overnight hydrating mask that claims it is a game changer and I couldn’t agree more. My face feels so plump and smooth in the morning after I use this mask that I have been using it multiple times a week! This quirky, organic company has a bunch of other products that I will definitely be exploring.

I have had the Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil for a while but it sat unopened for quite some time as I wanted to finish up some other facial oils I had on hand before I let the air in on something new. It’s no secret that Clarins product are quite fragrant and personally it doesn’t bother me or my skin for that matter. This oil is no exception. It smells soooo intoxicating and my skin feels so soft when I use it. I only use it once or twice a week but I feel that it has given me the hydration my skin needs along with the Acure Mask.

Body & Hair Care Favorites

Summer is long gone and any sign of my natural tan has sadly disappeared but St. Tropez to the rescue! As you can see in the photo I have used quite a bit of the Self Tan Luxe Facial Oil. It give the face the most beautiful natural glow with out any oily residue AT ALL and zero streaks. It is so easy to apply, you just drop a couple of drops into your hands and rub it onto your dry skin after cleansing. Follow with your regular skincare routine and within a few hours you will notice the results. I take the residual from my hands and wipe down my neck without a care and there is never any lines…it just blends perfectly!

The St.Tropez Everyday Mousse is also a favorite as it simply gives the body a nice glow and even color. It is a gradual tanner so you can go super light or build up to a darker shade depending on what you are after. It’s just so effortless and mess free.

I honestly don’t even know what I did before I started using the Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-powder! It gives my hair so much life everyday, volume, texture and it even triples as a dry shampoo! My main love for it is that it lasts for so long!! I find that I quickly run through the aerosol cans of dry shampoo or texturizer and they ain’t cheap! I feel I’m definitely getting my moneys worth from this bottle and you can’t beat its performance.

Have you too been loving any of my October Beauty Favorites? What have you been reaching for this month? Leave a comment below and lets chat 🙂
