I’ve been a die hard rose water fan for the past couple of years so I was totally on board when Imbue reached out to me to review their Skin Recovery Mists. As well, I love supporting local brands and Imbue is from my home town Vancouver!
First lets talk about why I love Rose Water so much…
I have fairly sensitive skin. Not just on my face but my body as well. Rose Water is very soothing so it helps me when my skin flairs up and it is gentle enough that I know it’s not going to be the cause of any problems.
I use it during the day to set and re-fresh my makeup, and I use it every single night on my neck and chest for some added hydration to keep that area youthful for as long as possible! I simply don’t have the energy at bedtime to slather my decollete with cream so this is a quick and easy way to keep the area moisturized. I am especially enoying the scents of the Imbue mists as they are very calming making them perfect for nightime use.
On those dreaded mornings, when I haven’t gotten enough sleep, the tell tale sign is always my puffy eyes. But, the trusty ol’ Rose Water really helps to reduce the puffiness!
Rose Water can also be used as a toner as it will clean your pores, restore your PH balance and it will help to tighten your skin.
Basically, Rose Water is just really handy to have around as it has so many wonderful uses and benefits.
Imbue is Boutique Aromatherapy company that has created 4 luxurious rose water mists, all hand-made and created in small batches.
The Skin Recovery Mists are rose water sprays with additional hydrating properties of Vitamin E and each have their own unique blend of essentials oils for the added bonus of aromatherapy.
The mist is EXTREMELY fine allowing these sprays to be used as a makeup setting spray and even use on fabrics to re-fresh as it won’t leave any heavy droplets behind. They all smell amazingly fresh and really have a wonderful relaxing effect to them.
The frosted glass bottles with pastel labels are truly beautiful and would make a great gift! I can easily say that the Imbue Skin Recovery Mists are by far my favorite among all of the rose water sprays I have used. Not only do they smell incredible, they are made with the highest quality ingredients and it shows.
The company has referenced each bottles scent to a cocktail which I think incorporates a nice modern appeal to the product. Below you can you find the descriptions to each Skin Recovery Mist as well as ingredients and their personal cocktail reference.

I always appreciate a super fine mist! If the product inside is great but the mist is sucky, it really defeats the purpose. So fun that these relate back to a cocktail! I’ll have me a mojito please!

Yes!! A mojito would be nice right now 🙂 And ya, I totally agree with the mist. I’ve had so many products disappoint simply because the spray was horrible.

How do these compare to the Caudalie spray?
LikeLike
Hi Beauty By Staci – tough to say how these compare as I haven’t used the Caudalie spray. Imbue Goods skin recovery mists are 100% natural: there is no alcohol or preservatives in our mists. The ingredients are simply: distilled water, 100% steam distilled organic rose water, vitamin e & a refreshing/soothing blend of essential oils. I hope this helps!

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is far more oily where the Imbue sprays are rose water based. Hope that helps!

What a great idea to spray your chest every night. So easy as I always forget to moisturize that area but I know I should and will likely regret not doing so very soon!

Yes! It is one of my best tips for sure! I definitely never have the time or energy to slather on more lotion at night so I find this really helpful!

Do you have a favorite out of these? What other Rose Water were you using before trying these ones out?

I really don’t actually…They all smell great, you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I have used the Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray for years, I find these are far more luxurious feeling and they smell amazing, where the MB spray is essentially non scented.

I ordered the Muse spray and I’m really enjoying it! Thank you for recommending them. I also enjoy the Caudalie one but like that these are more subtle in fragrance and the spray is so fine, a real selling point!
